The Regional President of Central Bohemia welcomed pilots-in-training from the Chinese carrier Sichuan Airlines at Benešov Airport, home base of F AIR flight school. The President said she was pleased that the partnership between China's Sichuan Province and Central Bohemian Region has produced concrete resutls, and that the regional government-owned airfield facility provides infrastructure for the project.
Also present were representatives of the town of Bystřice, the nearest settlement; namely, Mayor Daniel Štěpánek, Deputy Mayor Tomáš Semrád and Councilor for Investment, Property, and Public Tenders Martin Macháček; they met with Sichuan Airlines representatives and F AIR management and staff.
The Regional President also applauded F AIR's achievement in becoming the 2nd flight school in Europe (17th worldwide) to gain the Chinese Aviation Bureau certification required to train pilots for Chinese airlines.
The President and her team received a tour of the airport and discussed its further development with the Bystřice representatives.
