Introduction

Protecting your privacy is important to F AIR. This material discloses the information practices for the F AIR website, including what type of information is collected and tracked, how the information is used, and with whom it is shared.

Personal Information

As a general rule, you can visit F AIR on the Internet without telling us who you are or providing us any information about yourself. However, under certain circumstances, F AIR or its affiliates may request certain information from you.

You may choose to provide us with your personal information in a variety of situations. For example, you may give us information such as your name and address or email address in order to correspond with you, process your order, or offer you a subscription. If you want to buy something from us, you may give us your credit card information. If you wish to apply for a job opening at F AIR, you may provide us with information about your qualifications and work experience. It is our intention to let you know how we will use this information before we receive it from you. If you tell us that you do not want this information to be used for further contact with you outside of fulfilling your requests, we will respect your wishes. If you provide us with personal information about another person, such as your spouse or co-worker, we will assume that you have received consent from that person to share that information.

Use and disclosure of personal information

The following paragraphs describe in more detail how F AIR may use your personal information and with whom it may share it. Depending on the type of F AIR website you visit, one or more paragraphs may apply to you. For example, if you order a product from an F AIR website, your personal information will be processed in the manner described in the Fulfilling Your Transaction Request and Marketing Use sections.

Fulfillment of your transaction request

When you request something on an F AIR website, such as a product or service, a callback, or certain marketing materials, we use the information you provide to fulfill your request. To facilitate the entire process, we may share information with other entities, such as other departments of online media partners, business partners of F AIR, financial institutions, shipping companies, postal or government authorities (e.g., customs authorities) as necessary to fulfill the request. In connection with the transaction, we may also contact you as a participant in our customer satisfaction surveys or for market research purposes.

Marketing Use

F AIR and selected third parties may use the information you provide to F AIR on certain websites for marketing purposes. However, before we use it, we will give you the opportunity to decide whether or not we may use your information in this way.

Recruitment Websites

In connection with an inquiry or application for employment, whether an advertisement on F AIR or elsewhere, you may provide us with information about yourself in the form of a CV.

F AIR may use this information within F AIR and related legal entities to evaluate the possibility of entering into an employment relationship with you. We will retain this information for future use unless you opt out.

Security and Quality of Information

It is our intention to protect your personal information and maintain its quality. F AIR takes reasonable precautions and procedures, such as encryption, when transferring certain sensitive data. This helps us to protect your data and maintain its quality.

Adding information

From time to time, you may supplement the information you provide to us through the F AIR website with information from other sources. For example, this may be information that verifies your address or other available information about companies. This helps us to ensure the accuracy of the information we collect and to provide better service.

Mergers and Acquisitions

A situation may arise in which F AIR decides, for strategic or other business reasons, to sell, buy, merge or otherwise reorganize its business in some countries. Such a transaction may involve the disclosure of personal information to potential or existing buyers or the receipt of such information from sellers. In these types of transactions, F AIR always seeks to protect the data appropriately.

Cookies

We sometimes collect anonymous information from visitors to our website in order to provide better customer service. For example, we monitor the domains from which visitors visit us or measure visitor activity on the website F AIR. However, we do this in a way that preserves the anonymity of the information obtained in this way. This type of information is sometimes referred to as "clickstream data" F AIR and the companies that work on its behalf can use the data obtained in this way to analyze trends and statistics, which helps us to provide better customer service.

When collecting Personal Information in connection with a transaction, you may extract some information about that transaction in an anonymous format and combine it with other anonymous information, such as the "Clickstream Data " referred to above. This information is used and analyzed only at an aggregate level to help us better understand trends and patterns of behavior. None of this information is analyzed at an individual level. If you do not want your transaction data to be used in this way, you can decline to write cookies.

We collect the anonymous information mentioned in the preceding paragraphs using various technologies, including a technology called "cookies." A cookie is a data element that a website can send to your browser. The latter can store the file on your computer as an anonymous identifier that identifies your computer, but not you. Some F AIR websites use cookies sent by F AIR or third parties, or other technologies designed to provide you with better service when you revisit the site. You can set your browser to notify you when you accept cookies, so you can decide for yourself whether to accept them. You can also set it not to use cookies. In such a case, however, some websites may not function properly.

Some F AIR websites also use "web beacon" technology to process pages and provide better customer service. These technologies are used in many places on the MEDIA ONLINE website. When a visitor enters this website, an anonymous record of the visit is created, which we or our suppliers can then process. These "web beacons" typically work in conjunction with cookies. If you do not want your anonymous cookie information to be associated with your visits to this website, you can disable the use of cookies in your browser.

If you disable the use of cookies, the "web beacon" technology and other technologies will continue to recognize visits to the specified pages, but the records generated cannot be combined with other anonymous information from the cookies, so they will be ignored.

Monitoring the quality of services

Certain web transactions may involve telephone communication between you and F AIR. You should be aware that F AIR generally monitors, and in some cases records, such telephone conversations.
