ATPL(A) Theory

Our Distance-Learning ATPL Theory Courses are designed for future airline pilots — ideal for those aiming to progress beyond the PPL(A) and prepare for a professional aviation career.

The program delivers all essential theoretical knowledge required for commercial operations at the airline level. Upon completion, students are fully prepared to sit the official ATPL theory examinations with the Czech Civil Aviation Authority, equipped with a strong understanding of airline-level operations and responsibilities.

PPL(A) license or higher
Medical Class II Certificate or higher
17 years of age or older
adequate English skills - preferably an ICAO Aviation English certificate
adequate aptitude for mathematics and physics

MEP/IR & CPL

The MEP/IR + CPL bundle is the most direct and efficient route toward your professional pilot career. The IR course trains you to fly confidently in IFR and IMC conditions, mastering precise piloting, professional communication, and full use of the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit. The MEP rating adds essential multi-engine skills, giving you higher performance, safety, and flexibility for long-distance flying - an important step toward airline operations.

F AIR is one of the very few flight schools providing all IFR training exclusively on multi-engine aircraft, using the modern Tecnam P2006T for both IR and MEP. The same aircraft is also used for the CPL module and CPL skill test, giving you unmatched continuity and faster skill development.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

PPL(A) license
NIGHT qualification
MEP rating (for IR(A) MEP training)
Medical Class II Certificate (with audiometrics) or higher
50 h minimum flight time in VFR cross-country navigation flight as Pilot in Command (PIC)
70 h minimum flight time as Pilot in Command (PIC)
Enrolled in IR(A) or ATPL(A) Theory course
English proficiency (ICAO level 4+)

TRAINING OVERVIEW

MEP flight training runs a minimum of 6 hours. Flight training is finished by a skill test.

MEP/IR flight training is complex training that combines 40 hours of our modern FNPT II SIM and 15 hours of Multi-Engine training experience.

CPL module- the dream milestone- with a bundle of above mentioned MEP modules, only 15 hours of master training.

Advanced UPRT course

The Advanced UPRT course gives you the essential skills and confidence to recognize, prevent, and recover from unexpected aircraft upsets—one of the most critical competencies for every future airline pilot. Training takes place on the agile and responsive C-150 Aerobat, an ideal platform for safely experiencing unusual attitudes, high-bank manoeuvres, stalls, and dynamic aircraft behaviour.

During the course, you will learn to manage surprise, maintain situational awareness, and apply correct recovery techniques under real aerodynamic stress. This hands-on experience significantly enhances your safety margins and prepares you for the demanding environment of multi-crew airline operations.

A-UPRT is not just a regulatory requirement; it is transformational training that builds true airmanship, resilience, and confidence in handling the aircraft at the limits. It is an essential milestone on your journey to becoming a professional, well-rounded pilot.

TRAINING OVERVIEW

The Advanced UPRT module provides intensive, safety-focused training that prepares pilots to effectively recognize, prevent and recover from unusual attitudes and upset situations.

5 hours of complex ground training
4 hours of AUPRT training

Night Rating

The NIGHT Rating course introduces pilots to safe aircraft operation after sunset and prepares them for environments with limited visual references. It adds confidence and precision to a pilot’s overall flying skills.

Training includes dual night flights, solo circuits, navigation techniques, and recognition of visual illusions typical for night operations. Students learn how to maintain accurate control and situational awareness in low-light conditions.

This rating is an important prerequisite for further training, especially the Instrument Rating, and forms a natural step toward professional pilot progression. It makes pilots safer, more adaptable, and better prepared for advanced aviation challenges.
