Do you aspire to be a professional pilot? You have come to the right place. F AIR offers several pathways to the lofty heights of airliner command.
If your situation permits devoting yourself to training and study full-time, we recommend the integrated course option, which combines flight training at F AIR with the Professional Pilot bachelor's program at the Czech Technical University in Prague School of Transportation. A modular course is also available; in this case, the theoretical study takes place at the Technical University of Brno or the University of Business in Prague.
If you need to retain a job or have other competing demands on your time, the modular course system is the best option. We can help you out by scheduling your lessons for evenings and weekends or other convenient times.
ATPL(A) - Airline Transport Pilot License (Modular Course)
In the modular course system, students go through the successive levels of pilot licenses and certifications required to ultimately train for the ATPL(A) license, the highest tier of pilot license available, allowing holders to seek employment as commercial airline pilots. The progression starts with the Private Pilot License PPL(A) course, which teaches basic piloting skills and flight theory. The next step is Night Visual Flight Rules certification, followed by timebuilding, wherein one builds up the flight time required for higher licenses and further polishes their skills in cross-country flights around the Czech Republic and Europe. Next comes Instrument Rating IR(A) certification, which allows the pilot to fly by instruments only and teaches some of the standard operating procedures (SOP) used in professional flying. The next module up is Multi-Engine Piston MEP aircraft certification and related instrument flight procedures, followed by the Commercial Pilot License CPL(A). The final step before ATPL(A) is Multi-Crew Cooperation MCC training, which teaches SOP and CRM for collaboration of multiple crewmembers on a flight, an essential skill for commercial pilots. You can enter the modular program at any of these steps if you possess the preceding qualifications and meet the remaining requirements.

Flight Training
Training consists of a succession of modules covering increasing competence levels: PPL(A) - Night VFR - Timebulding - IR(A) SEP - MEP - IR(A) SEP/MEP - CPL(A) - MCC. Once you have passed all the modules, you are eligible to enter a type rating course, in which you will be training in the actual airliners you will pilot commercially once you graduate. Type rating flight training is organized by airline companies.
