Broaden your pilot qualifications
If you already hold a pilot license and would like to keep improving your qualifications and training, there are many supplementary courses to choose from. The usual first step after a Private Pilot License is Night VFR training, which normally takes two nights to complete. Another available training is the Instrument Rating IR(A), which is partly flown in a simulator and partly in an aircraft. A major enhancement to your qualifications is Multi-Engine Piston (MEP) aircraft rating, which mainly concerns the proper procedures for handling twin with one engine failure.
